美国内战结束后，人们厌倦了战争为他们带来严重的睡眠不安，社会各界想方设法的为如何提高睡眠质量，进行了一系列的研究、开发。
    1865年，位于美国俄勒冈州(OR  97223)CSZ  波特兰格林伯格西南部的一位科学家Dirk Vogc先生，发现了天然橡胶可以提高睡眠质量，
    通过一系列的研究、实验、开发后，发明了用天然橡胶汁提练、容合成为当今世界无人不知的乳胶垫。
    Dirk Vogc先生逝后，他的儿子Mark Vogc先生，在继承了他父亲的技术后，又结合了当时一些先进技术，
    开创了首家以乳胶科技睡眠系统为主打的美国"BED"寝具研究开发集团有限公司（USA BED Bedding Study Develop Co., Ltd.），
    同时生产床垫、软床等为提高人们睡眠质量的寝具。
    经过百年的发展，BED旗下拥有了五十多个品牌，尽百个系列产品。TOPBED（托普百德）是BED公司品牌中专为中国人设计，适合东方人睡眠习惯，矫正东方人睡眠陋习的科学睡眠系统。
